Halo Insurance Limited is the specialist provider of insurance for the rental vehicle market. As an underwriting agency we provide innovative niche insurance products to wholesale and retail markets.

Halo was set up in 2009 by Ernesto Suarez, a specialist in personal lines insurance who in his former role at AIG has been responsible for underwriting insurance for the rental sector for over 12 years. Halo provides its insurance direct to consumers via our retail brands iCarhireinsurance.com and leihwagenversicherung.de and also provides insurance on a wholesale basis to Travel Agents, Car Hire Brokers, Aggregators and other Insurance Brokers.

Halo Insurance Services is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (registration number 504629). Our products are underwritten by Chubb Insurance Company (Europe) limited and Service Insurance Company Limited of Gibraltar. With both underwriters we have full delegated authority.
